UltraSignup
In 2009, UltraSignup was founded on a simple, yet uncharted, idea: to seamlessly bring together event registration and live results onto one platform for participants to easily access, enjoy, and be inspired by.
This idea has created a massive database of results, while also setting the foundation for how athletes and race directors analyze the competition in real time. UltraSignup has catapulted into the fastest growing full-service race management company in North America, providing all the essential components for premiere trail races. UltraSignup’s unique layout makes race registration easy, and UltraSignup’s integrated timing software allows participants to receive real time race results once they’ve crossed the finish line.
UltraSignup has bridged the rigor of event organizing with the innovative software to create the ultimate race-management experience. We believe that integrated and high quality technology will lead to a more efficient race management experience, which allows the event directors to focus on what matters: the runners! Thank you for being a part of our journey as we propel trail running and endurance adventure into the future.

Buckle Fever
TrailCon 2025 marks the launch of Ultrarunning’s Buckle Fever: Origins of the Western States Endurance Run—a book that chronicles the moment in 1974 when Gordy Ainsleigh dared to run 100 miles alongside the Tevis Cup horses. His audacious feat ignited a movement—and redefined the limits of human endurance. It became more than a race. It became a rebellion against doubt.
At its heart were co-founders, Mo Livermore and Shannon Weil (MoShan), two women who helped shape the race’s formative years, which lead the way for the worldwide sport of ultra trail running.
