Open Fuel was born out of our collective journeys with training, racing, fueling, and being consumers. It’s easy to get overwhelmed by the countless nutrition products and their magic-ingredient hype. We started in Cape Town, South Africa, where there was a clear need for a local option that provided affordable fuel for performance. (We are now expanding into North America with Europe coming soon!)

We’re a small team who has traveled across the globe in pursuit of our passions. From far flung adventures trail running, surfing and skiing – we’ve spent a lot of time planning trips.

Born from our love for sports and the thrill of shared experiences, we saw a gap in the travel industry. Too often, booking accommodations for races felt like a logistical nightmare—search that takes forever and a lack of connection to the communities that make travel special.
