Mike Foote

Mike Foote is an endurance athlete, race director, business owner, and conservation advocate based in Missoula, Montana. He has been organizing trail and mountain running events since 2010, and is the owner and race director of The Rut Mountain Runs, one of the largest trail running events in North America. As a long-time athlete with The North Face, Mike has stood on the podium at some of the world’s premier ultramarathons, represented the U.S. on the Ski Mountaineering National Team, and spent the past 15 years pursuing big days in wild mountain landscapes. Passionate about protecting open spaces, Mike serves on the Five Valleys Land Trust Board of Directors and is a member of the Protect Our Winters Athlete Alliance. He lives in Missoula with his wife and two young sons.
