Emily Kraus
I’m a Stanford sports medicine physician, researcher, and lifelong runner. I care for endurance athletes of all levels, helping them stay healthy, strong, and doing what they love. I direct the Female Athlete Science and Translational Research (FASTR) Program, part of the Wu Tsai Human Performance Alliance, where I focus on closing the gender gap in sports science. I also serve as the WSER Co-Medical Research Director, supporting research that pushes our understanding of what the human body can achieve. After recently welcoming my first baby girl, I’m finding my way back to the trails — balancing motherhood, medicine, and my own miles with a renewed gratitude for every step.
