Andrew Bumbalough

Andrew Bumbalough joined Nike’s Footwear Innovation team in 2021, following a 10-year career as a professional runner. Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Bumbalough competed collegiately as a track and field athlete at Georgetown University before joining the Bowerman Track Club, where he trained and raced from 2010 to 2020. His competitive highlights include a fifth-place finish at the Boston Marathon and a U.S. 5K championship title. A pacer for Nike’s Breaking2 attempt in 2017, his relationship with Nike began well before transitioning into the business. Bumbalough has held roles across Nike Footwear Innovation and Nike Running Footwear Product Management and currently serves as a Product Line Manager for ACG Footwear. He continues to compete as an ultra-marathoner, racing distances from 50K to 100K.
