OLYMPIC VALLEY, Calif. (February 10, 2026) – TrailCon – a three-day event that celebrates the trail running community through engaging panels, powerful networking, exciting activations and Vendor Village – is thrilled to announce Travis Tygart as a keynote speaker on TrailCon’s “Stakeholder Day” June 22 that kicks off a three-day celebration of all things trail running.
The 2026 event – scheduled June 22-24 at Palisades Tahoe in Olympic Valley and officially named “TrailCon Presented By On”– will feature Travis, among other speakers, during a full- day of thought-provoking sessions.
Travis T. Tygart has worked with the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) since its inception in 2000 and became USADA’s CEO in September of 2007, having served as its Director of Legal Affairs and General Counsel prior to becoming its CEO.
“It is an enormous honor to join the TrailCon 2026 community at this pivotal moment of growth and excitement in trail running. This is an important time to explore why clean sport matters and how to best protect clean athletes’ rights to a level and fair playing field.”
As CEO, Tygart works closely with the USADA Board of Directors to carry out the organization’s mission to champion athletes to achieve their dreams in a fair and healthy way and to inspire the world.
Under Tygart’s leadership, some of USADA’s most significant efforts to protect clean athletes have come in the form of major investigations. Working alongside federal authorities, USADA investigated the international steroid bust, Operation Raw Deal, and the international doping conspiracy involving the BALCO laboratory in San Francisco.
Tygart also led the investigation into the U.S. Postal Service pro-cycling team doping conspiracy and the Lance Armstrong case.
“We are beyond honored to have Travis Tygart speak at TrailCon. He personifies athletic integrity and has made significant positive impacts on several maturing sports, which trail running can learn a lot from. We are thrilled to have him share takeaways from his pioneering anti-doping work with our attendees” Dylan Bowman, co-founder of TrailCon
This year’s theme is TrailCon: Shaping the Future, with three days packed with incredible thought leaders in our industry.
